leadbreakfast
Just take out the two top bolts and the bottom just locates in the rubbers. leadbreakfast
If it's the fan belt being on a petrol you will have to shock them off and use a six sided socket or spanner if its tight you could always hit the spanner with a hammer. But if it's a multi sided it will prob round off
yod dropper
I bought some Irwin bolt grippers which have saved the day 3 times for me the last year. You might have to replace the nuts if it is really tight and they really cut in. You can use this brand with a spanner or socket. http://www.screwfix.com/p/irwin-bolt-grip-nut-remover-set-5-pieces/96028 Expansion set available as well for extra sizes though exact sizing isn't totally necessary. rabbiter
thanks guys, but the thing is,theres no room to get a socket on to the bolt head, its a 2ltr petrol by the way,it has to come off,to be able to route the new belt,i think shocking them off maybe the answer, ill get the Mrs to pop her head under the bonnet, that should shock them enough,lol............ they wont be left hand threads either as when im counteracting the clutch spindle from moving, neither side is giving way,if you know what im trying to say
yod dropper
They are all 28mm deep, much less I'd hazard than a socket of that size and can be used with an open or ring spanner so you don't need room to put the socket wrench into the end. Just a thought though, I know how some manufacturers like to make things near impossible.

rabbiter
I thought id cracked it,i thought I could slip the belt over the fan between the fan and the rad, great idea I thought till I see you cant route the belt onto the pulleys because the belt for the fan blocks it,lol, still struggling, looks like a trip to a garage, dont like doing that if I can do it myself though
