If its noise your neighbours still won't like you if you're attached as you still have to beat hell out of them! I really rate Roland, I found Yamaha to be pretty dire The best bet is to go on eBay and look for a Roland with all mesh heads as the solid rubber pads dont give you any feel or feedback at all and are louder when struck.
