felly100
An evening with Paul Gaskell of the wild trout trust If you are within striking distance of South Yorks. on the evening of 7th Dec, you might enjoy coming along to an evening devoted to nymph fishing tactics. Paul will cover traditional methods and then show how each modern tactic evolved to meet specific challenges. The Q and A session will let us talk specifically about your own streams and challenges. Details of the venue are available here: http://www.phoenixssc.co.uk/location The talks are held upstairs above the main bar in the social club. Once you turn onto Pavillion Lane - don't lose faith - you need to drive a little way past the houses (passing them on your right) before you find the large car park for the social club. Entry is just £3 plus a £1 raffle ticket towards room hire.

felly100
Hi, Just found this topic and found it intresting, do you belong to a local fly fishing club? As I have just moved back to S. Yorkshire, I am in a club that has fishing rights on the Derwent in Derbyshire. For grayling and wild brownies get in touch with these guys. http://www.sheffieldsprite.com/home.asp?slevel=0z0&parent_id=1 It's not all work parties!
