Beagle boy
Evening lads, has anyone made their own? I've got plenty of strut I can use for the frame of the canopy using pre made 90 degree bends in principle it should be easy peasy. Then bolt on aluminium sheets for the sides, I'd also make a shooting hatch for the back of it aswell that opens on the roof. Has anyone else done it? rodp
Made loads, and for trailers, it's what we do. However, we make a tubular frame then a pvc covers. Easy to remove and stow out the way.
Beagle boy
How much do you throw them out st bud? Im an electrician so I got slotted uni strut I was going to make the frame from then use ally sheets for the sides and for the latch but the only problem is the uni strut frame maybe heavy Cheers rob
rodp
To make the frame we would need the truck, no patterns, all made to size. If a normal size pick up probably around £450 / £500 for frame and cover. Cover only about £250 / £300. Depending where you are though probably better to go to a local place. Not trade on here so not fair to go into more detail, hope I've given you enough info to help you in your quest though and a guideline to shop about local.
