Bungle
Here's a little video of my 9 month old gsp pointing and flushing game. She's coming on well now. Far too early to start shooting over her yet, but we're getting there with the basics! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTQkNCr4OKI

deeksofdoom
How's your training going with the GWP? Having any problems stopping her chasing the rabbits like I am???!!! See you later. I had all her obediance training done before I brought her out hunting(that's hunting without any gun just walking the ditches), I just blow the stop whistle and she just spins around and looks at me , but i don't bring her where there are rabbits generally and if I do shes on a long line. Just started training her to quarter this week has my heart broke but sure tis all part of the fun. In a few weeks I might try her with the gun once we've made a bit of progress with the quartering, cos she's just a little bit nervous of noise, had her at clay shoot a few weeks ago and she didn't mind the shooting as long as she was kept occupied hunting and playing etc., my advice to you is keep her well away from rabbits for the time being!
