Hi , I have a leak on a pre 06 s410 it is on the male snap connector S470 I am having no success in removing it and I am having difficulty in holding the cylinder whilst trying to undo the 17mm connector any ideas on holding the cylinder without damaging it As it will be stripped, I had just as well replace the cylinder o rings as well RN 234 muchio gracius, the donk .

put the cylinder between two pieces of wood, 2x1 then tape it up to keep it solid, then place the two pieces of wood with the cylinder in the middle into a vice and you can then remove whatever you want,

I have just totally rebuilt my s410 and found that the number one place for leaks on them is around the air gauge

good luck with it as they are a cracking piece of kit, the one I have just rebuilt is now like new and is an excellent rat stopper
