BEFORE WE STARTED IMPORTING SPANISH GUNS THE BELGIAN SHOTGUNS FROM LEIGE WERE THE EUROPEAN CHOICE. THIS MODEL IS A VERY NICELY ENGINEERED 12 BORE WITH A GREENER STYLE CROSSBOLT TO GIVE THE THIRD BITE AND SIDE-CLIPPED 29.5†BARRELS MID CHOKED AT ½ AND ¾ . THE CHAMBERS ARE 2 ¾ (70mm) FOR THE CONTEMPORARY CARTRIDGE. AT THIS BARGAIN PRICE I’M NOT PRETENDING IT’S IN FINE CONDITION. THE STOCK HAS A FEW DINKS AND COULD DO WITH A FEW COATS OF OIL AND THE BLUEING HAS FADED SLIGHTLY. THE BORES ARE PRETTY GOOD ALTHOUGH THE LEFT BARREL HAS A RUB MARK HALFWAY DOWN. THIS WILL MAKE A CHEAP FIELD GUN OR AN IDEAL PROJECT TO PRACTISE YOUR REFINISHING SKILLS.
