Gun Watch Posted March 1, 2016 Report Share Posted March 1, 2016 Enfield Converted Martini Henry rifle £400 20 gauge Shotgun Trade Seller Used - Very Good Condition Arlesey, Bedfordshire Martini Action, Improved Cylinder, -, 33" barrels Description A Martini-Henry rifle converted to a 20 bore shotgun. 85cm steel nitro proofed barrel (very good bore) with 2.5" chamber and bored at IC choke. Hinged ladder rear sight and fixed front sight. Made in 1887 with a serial number of B7521. The lock plate with cocking indicator and crowned VR cypher over ENFIELD IV over 1, walnut full stock with steel sling swivels and ramrod. A lovely piece of history with lots of interesting markings on metal and woodwork. This gun is being sold by Pigeon Watch member Coney Basher. Imagine the hands that have held this What an awesome thing to own on a Shotgun ticket, take it pigeon shooting or wabbitboshin or even down the clay ground for nipping of a few in the Grouse butts Stunning piece of English History for £400 !!!
