NickB65
Well after a great season and some excellent days pigeon shooting I was asked if I would let Blue mate with a friends gun dog bitch. After meeting the chap and his lovely bitch I thought why not..... Well after a slow start and some uncertainty and three visits.... Blue got the hang of it and did the dead. I also managed to convince the wife we should have one of the pups and she agreed...... QUESTION: Given Blue is in tact and will remain that way for now do I go for a bitch or a dog? Will Blue try and mate with his daughter? Only ever had dogs or bitches so bit of a mystery have a mixed pack but having seen the bitch I was quite taken by her gentle nature. fenboy
Yes he will most certainly try to mate with his daughter at every opportunity he gets when she is in season . They will need to be kept separate while she is in season or one will need to be done at the vets . I thought about getting a bitch to keep alongside my dog but decided the extra hassle was not worth it for me.

Well we shall have to see what she has and take it from there.
