Peter_HMR
I have 3 7ah sealed lead acid batterys Got them for nothing so just want to try them out before i buy one bigger battery or if i'll have to at all. I have a trickle charger i got from lidyl which says its for sla batterys but wondering what to do with them do you charge them all up and just leave them or leave them on the charger to whole time or what. Is it possible to have all 3 on at the same time to maintain a charge (obviously in parallel not series) its only a 12v charger
pin
Lead acids should be kept charged. Different manufacturers recommend different things, if left disconnected from any apparatus, I would charge them every 3 months to keep them topped up - if storing for a long time. Certain people make "maintenance" chargers but these are really intended for car applications where the car, even when off, drains the battery and will eventually flatten. Don't leave them on, one charger will be fine, just rotate it. Oh and no, it won't work with 3 together
