The corvid controller
Hello folks, just bought myself a new gun its a Beretta Silver pigeon. The gun is shooting low and 40yds is around 10" low from center of POI. When i mount the gun im seeing a flat rib and at about 45° the rib dissappears and i see the top lever. Im sure this is due to the comb being too low. I have ordered 2 comb raisers one 3mm and one 6mm, Im no expert so i wanted to put it to you guys for a second oppinion. Salopian
Carl, A quick fix would be to place a little talcum powder on your cheek and then mount the gun as you would normally. This will give you the point of contact with the comb face. You can then tape a piece of carpet underlay /carpet /or cardboard of the correct thickness onto the comb to suit your preferred sight plain. A good measure is if you can see the bead or top of the muzzle when sighting over the top of a £1 coin placed flat on top of the breech face.
