TaxiDriver
In Britain, Whooooooo is responsible for enforcing it ? Ie IF an employer is blatantly ignoring it and expecting staff to work 16-18hrs a day with sometimes 6-7 hours off (but still 'on call') Anyone on PW work for VOSA or DVSA I think they're now called ? Jamesey1981
The HSE are responsible for enforcing it, details on the link, you'll need to call ACAS and chat with them, they deal with the initial contact, they're actually pretty good, I've had to call them before. http://www.hse.gov.uk/contact/faqs/workingtimedirective.htm Edited May 3, 2016 by Jamesey1981
