deny essex
The 6 volt kids toy motor gearbox died on my hypa rotary after over 5 years of use . Bought a 12 volt worm drive motor arrangement and had a refit . Reduced the arms to a 7'6" (229 cm) diameter turn. Closed height of the telescopic fishing whip arms 23" (58 cm). Pictured with a single arm that I use at times, closed 20" (51 cm) open 5' (152 cm) Motor stem is aluminium. Foot kicker, motor box mount and spike glassfibre. Hopefully the battery needed will be small , but yet to be field tested . All up weight minus battery 1.4 kilo. much better weight to carry on a long walk than my dead bird full rotary.
