TONY R
Have three video cameras at the moment, A go pro about 3 years old a Reflex about 2 years old and a shotcam i just got. I n want to try and incorporate them all into footage, to be able to move from lets say a shot of the shooter and straight to the shotcam and then the reflex on the cap peak say after the shot. I am guessing its all about timing. BUT! I am as i said GUESSING here. Can a nyone give any advice on how to edit and produce such films, i have never done anything other than take normal real time footage and just download and play it. One last question i have one camera the Reflex thats 480P can you do anything to the lowere res footage to make the swap over points for want of a better word less noticable, or is this impossible, and will it matter as much as i think. Hope i have explained this well enough, but i am new to all this but need info the seasons getting closer every day.
Simonc_here
Windows movie maker is free and works fine for basic editing. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/movie-maker it's part of windows essentials, but you don't have to install the rest of it. Just drag and drop the footage from the cameras in to the timeline and split and move the footage to where you want it. You can't do anything about the resolution of the 480p footage, but you can add transitions between them to make it less jarring. Beardo
Depends how much you intend to do. Windows Movie Maker (PC) / iMovie (MAc) will do it cheaply/free If you want to go more advanced (£65 i think) then Premiere Elements (Both PC and Mac) is very good for the money (and has superb built in tutorials) - there's also a 30 day free trial
Beardo
you could PIP (Picture in picture) the 480 footage on top of some other footage that way it won't look rubbish as it'll be smaller on screen
