nessy
can you use BB's with air rifles? i saw some Copperhead steel BBs in the shop and the owner said they're great, but he does have a tendency to exagerate everything to increase his sales. ps. sorry if this topic's been on before, the forum search didn't return any results

I could be wrong though
SNAKEBITE
I have never used or ever intend to use BB's in my airgun. If you think about it we moved away from BB's after we stopped using muskets! Pellets are shaped like pellets for a reason, don't ask me the scientific principals behind it though BB's are o.k for plinking in the garden at tin's with an airsoft or some such item but not seriously in the field. njc110381
Unless the gun is designed to fire a steel BB (ie crossman triple strike) then I'd stay well clear. They could damage the rifling and will not be that accurate anyway.
