Went for a walk round with my middle lad the other night just finnished his GCEs not been out shooting for a few months hes free now for awile so we went out the other night took the Sprinter, parked up right next to the river near a flooded bit, got out opened the back doors let the dog out off we went, in th open not bad on the high bits but wall bottoms in the trees it got bad with mozzies real bad, it got pretty dark as we got back round to the van got twp pigeons and a magpie, back at the van the springer jumped in the open rear door and jumped straight back out again shaking his head vigarously, looks in with the torch man its brown with mozzies in there, shut the door left them in there, van has a bulkhead in it sealed good so we jump in the front guns dog and head home.

Decided to look in today a few still alive but most dead looked like a covering of tea scatered all over the van floor never seen so many here, thought i was in scotland for a minuite.

Im thinking early fowlinbg season here this year is going to be bad for mozzies real bad dont know what any of you think are you seeing more this year or is it just round here. ?

I use one on Scottish lochs whilst out fishing dawn and dusk. Also works well in pigeon hides.

Works a treat in still/calm, but once wind picks up, switch off and rely on breeze to keep them off.

Can source gas cheaper, as also used for curlers etc, also pads cheaper as well as thermacell ones are same as other ones heated up by oil lamps and candles etc.

p.s. make sure you get the cover for it as it is handle to string off most waist coats/ straps etc.
