30-6
When out and using the illumination do you switch it off in between shots when walking or just leave it on constantly? What's the life expectancy of the battery?
JohnGalway
When I started out first I used IR, the manual said the battery would last xxx hours, so that was long enough for me not to worry about it and leave it on while I was out. Now, although I just bought another scope with IR capability, which I don't intend ever switching on. If you have a scope with a good chunky reticle you won't need IR anyway. The next scope I get won't have IR capability if I can at all help it.
