rbrowning2
Ghilley I load for the the 28ga you will find some load data at http://www.####.co.uk/loads1.htm The 24gm load shown is quite slow and I do not like A0 powder in the 28ga above 21gm for this reason, Vectan Tecna is very good for 24gm but not an easy powder to find, got my last lot from FES. Good gauge to load for as by doing so you get what you want rather than what the shop has.
TONY R
Im not a 28 bore reloader , but if i had a 28 bore i think i would look at either Lil gun if i could get it or in the vectan range re your op. i wouls skip straight past A0 etc, and go for Vectan SP2 , the way it behaved in other bores i tried it in i got the feeling it would have been about right for bigger loads in the 28. There is a 3 inch magnum 28 out now makes it even more interesting.

rbrowning2
siarm = sp2 dataFor a 26gm load the op asked for 21/24gm I have tried the SP2 it is quite a loud report only done the 26gm load with it not tried a lighter load as cheaper options are available. Some where I have a 28gm load but not sure if that was SP3 but for all my needs 21gm or 24gm is perfect after all it is 28ga not a 12ga. Link to siarm data http://www.siarm.it/product_info.php?cPath=96_103_164&products_id=571 Edited September 2, 2016 by rbrowning2
