Dakers
Hi all, My lovely lady and I are starting to look more seriously about getting our cocker pup. One thing I hadn't maybe considered was timing with regards to litters. Someone mentioned that most good working dogs will be working through the season, and as such maybe wouldn't be having litters. Also someone else mentioned that a lot of people prefer to have pups for the summer to make life easier for toilet/basic training etc. given the longer daylight hours. Does anyone have any views or advice regarding this at all? Also, if anyone has any suggestions of recommended or reputable breeders, we'd welcome them, we're based in North Herts. Dog would be predominantly a pet, but I'm looking to train them even though I don't shoot as much as I'd like.
