pin
What you spend on a car is all relative. I can see how someone would baulk at a car costing 20k, with 2 mortgages @ around 900k I can't see how anyone can afford a Bentley @ 200k - but that's relative too. I am with you LG though, in truth, if we really think about it, spending that on a car is obscene

Its not my failure that people fail to see beyond the badge, although it is a good thing because as long as they do people like me will continue to pick up bargains. You are right tho its not an Audi, cause then it would be an over priced badge on wheels

BSA Shaun
No honestly mate I love my vRS and would rather pay £6000 less than a mini cooper for example, be quicker and pull more MPG than it. Just don't see the sense in paying any more than you have to for a car built to the same quality

I do agree that they are a quantum leap better than they used to be. I have never driven a Fabia, so am not in a position to comment on it. You are obviously happy with yours and I wish you all the best with it. I agree with you 110% about minis. they are chronically over priced. BSA Shaun
Cheers fella. Maybe Audi was a bit high, VW? I always had the stigma but once I drove a few fabia's and octavia's my opinion changed. Doesn't the mini remind you of an austin allegro? For some reason it does me
