ShootingEgg Posted September 21, 2016 Report Share Posted September 21, 2016 Last night I went over to a mates farm. And the two of us took my 17 out with the nv on. She has just got her FAC so wanted to go out and see what was around. We lamped the first field (barley stubble) and it was empty, so walked round to the grazing fields, eyes seen. Lamp off and nv on. She rested on a gate post and as I use nitesite I was able to watch and see the rabbit drop on the spot. Walked up and found that she is a great shot, i told her to aim just below the eye,and she did exactly that.... Entry was just below the eye and the exit was pretty much the other side of the head. Did get a photo but its pretty graphic. Not sure if it borders on inappropriate. So will refrain from posting.
