nessy
I'm buying a s/h lighning XL from a classified ad, can you guys tell me what the options are for posting it? if it is at all possible - i was told parcelforce prohibits airgun deliveries unless the sender is a registered airgun retailer. Any advice would be appreciated (packaging, costs, precautions, service to use etc etc). NICE ONE!!!
pin
Parcelforce will take it, I have sent a PCP with them before. The only thing they cared about was that the air tank was empty. It does say they won't take "Firearms", but since this isn't a firearm you should be fine. I know they are changing it all very soon anyway.. pin
Yep, where in there does it mention air guns? An air gun, assuming we are talking sub 12ft/lb, isn't a section one or two firearm, like I said in my first post. Section one firearms require a firearms certificate, things like .22 Rimfire etc. Section two firearms are smooth bore guns, shotguns, which require a shotgun certificate. Theskyfox
I've sent air rifles twice with parcelforce 48. Once to an airgun company and I bought one off the forums too. Both came by parcel force. Also airgun buyer sent me both my airguns by APC overnight....so if parcelforce say no, then go APC =). -Andrew
