Engraving looks identical to mine, so is it the same model do you reckon? I think all of the action was blued at some point and has worn over the years. I've now taken all the action blueing off as I prefer the satin silver finish. Great guns, and fit me perfectly as soon as I shot it for the first time. Great guns, and fit me perfectly as soon as I shot it for the first time. its a supergrade which i think has better finish wood and yes its a m choke sporter.its about 20 years old now and i got it in a real bargain about a year ago.i had looked for a 101 for about 3 years.it has balance to die for and fits me like a glove.i only use it on rare occasions.i would buy another if i could find one in good enough nick.most of my choke tubes were never used.its browning based but built in japan,back then they outsold browning.guess who owns winchester now?
