Rst1990
i have a baikal sbs 12g The ejectors have started playing up to the point that when you fire the gun the cartridges get stuck in the barrel, to the point I had to have a screwdriver to get them out. Once I got the carts out the rim of the cases had a bulge in the side to where the ejector sits, I thought maybe it was the cartridges so have tried a few different brands and loads but still get the same problem. Is this worth sending to a gunsmith for a look or because it would cost more than the gun is worth just scrap it and buy another? greenergp
I have the same problem with one of the ejectors on an OU that i have, it would cost more than the gun is worth to get it fixed. So what i have done is to get a 50mm length of 15 mm copper pipe, capped one end and filled with lead with a brass loop on the other end with a bit of paracord attatched, on the barrel that does not eject ( i can sometimes lift the cartridge out by hand) and the cartridge is stuck i just drop the copper weight down the barrel and it knocks the spent case out of the chamber. It's a bit of a hassle to do but i like the gun and want to keep using it. Edited March 2, 2017 by greenergp
