Albert 888
OK I have a 96 p38 with a Swan neck towbar, looks like a factory fit one,I'm after fitting a plate type one as I need to attach a dave Cooper type bike carrier,so I need the plate type ball so I can bolt it on. Can i just remove the Swan neck ball and the fit the plate type. It appears to unbolt with a 16 or 20 mm bolt and it looks simular to an I beam if you will. Cheers Albert. four-wheel-drive
I do not no but I have a swan neck connector on my jeep and when you remove the center part the gap is quite wide I would think that your cheapest option would be to look out for a second hand complete tow bar it should be a simple unbolt and bolt the new one on hope this helps. Look on ebay for someone who is braking an LR like you have and send them an email quite often people have things but do not put them in the add I did this when I wanted a gearbox very heavy to post but a local seller had what I needed so I could go and pick it up. Albert 888
I have looked, not much local, but they break them at Nantwich witch isn't that far, I may be better writing a list and making a phone call to see what they have. Cheers for the post though.
