mick miller
To compliment my 17 hornet funnel, I've designed and printed a 204 funnel. This is a perfect fit for FL sized or neck sized cases. What's the point? You may ask. Well, often one size fits all funnels don't fit either the case mouth or case body very well. Either the case sits canted inside the base or the case mouth sits too low, this allows kernels of powder to fall down the annulus created and then, when you remove the case, kernels are dumped onto the work bench. Don't you get static? Certainly, when the case is first removed from the printer it has a load of static, which leaves kernels hanging. However, after finishing/polishing the inner cone and wiping over with an isopropyl wipe the static has gone. No worse than any other plastic funnel you may use. Occasional wipes will keep the inside static free. As the case mouth sits precisely at the base of the cone there is no chance of kernels getting hung up around the case mouth, neck or shoulder. All in all pretty pleased with these so far!
