WORZEL
just been to my local gunshop, looking at semi auto's. been offered a new Webley & Scott 810 for £399 in Walnut, or a 1992 Beretta 303 in what i would say as 'above average' not brilliant condition for £350. what does everybody think? ph5172
You cant go wrong with a webly and scott, well made and comes with a 5 year (if my memory is correct, warranty) and a gunslip. A lot of the shooting grounds are using these for training now. And with new you know exactly where it has been and done, and apparently it is meant to be good luck to be the first owner (and Shooter) of a gun???!!!! But as was said before depends on what you feel comftable with and what fits, i tried loads and loads of guns with big price tags and in the end opted for a cheaper one as the fit was better. See if you can give them both a try

But the B s are really good guns too and you wont loose money as quickly as the webly (you know BMW s and Fords!!!) and spares are probably esier to find so DIY repairs will be easier. See if you can give them both a try
