Big thumbs up to Aigle customer service

Just wanted to say how impressed with Aigle customer service I have been, my Aigle boots (not Wellies) split and let water in through soles even though out of the 2 year warranty period they have instructed retailer to accept them back for full credit. Despite me not having proof of purchase! Ther ewas a known issue with sole so they have stepped up and offered a full credit.

 

Really impressed and I fully recommend Aigle just keep the receipt for the 2 year warranty....

 

Retailer was also really helpful and got a great jacket with the credit as I had already bought another pair of boots. Aigles as it happens....

i'm glad that you had a positive experience with their customer services, I had quite the opposite experience. I bough a pair of wellies at the Highland Show 3 years ago and within about 4 months the heel inners collapsed.

 

As the trade stand I bought them from are not local to me at all I emailed Aigle to ask for assistance and basically got an email saying go via the retailer. Advised unable to go through the retailer as it was a trade stand who are not local and got a reply of sorry we cannot help.

That's a shame, it was all transacted through the retailer Mole Valley who were equally brilliant in sorting it out, were you not able to simply post the fault you ones back the retailer and have them replaced?

 

I couldn't remember the retailers name, i had a receipt but it was a generic handwritten thing. I looked at the show directory to see if I could remember, but I couldn't. The annoying thing was I saw them at another show about a year later, but by that time the boots had been binned.

 

What frustrated me was the dismissive attitude by Aigle.

Same as grrclark for me Aigle no help at all 1 year old outlast wellies perished and leaking , explained they were bought on holiday and no receipt to hand , they would do nothing .

Had a problem with some Le Chameau Verizon wellies and their customer service were fantastic !
