Mr.C
Dear PW'ers A fellow (rifle) club member has been given a Browning. I know little about them so thought I'd ask the people with knowledge. Under the action it says Browning Citori with the logo on the trigger guard. It has (iirc) a 3xxxxPT serial number under the top lever. Flush fitting chokes with Invector on the barrel lump. It has a center bead on 28" barrels. The action is silver with pretty scant scrollwork, no pheasants or partridge in flight. What is it and what is it's current value? I ask as there is no model info apart from the all covering Citori label, but hey if that's what it is....... Thanks in advance.
Harnser
I think you will find that it was made in 1986 and is the citori /b325 . If it has the wide rib and centre bead then it will be the sporter . That model has the chopper lump barrels and is of better construction than the later models . A very nice gun and worth in the £800 to £1000 if in very good condition . harnser
Mr.C
Thanks for the reply, the model number was confusing me as I couldn't see it on the gun anywhere. It does have a wide rib. It has a split in the top of the fore end other than that he's a lucky chap.
