greystone wood otley, any you northern lads tried this shoot yet.

its on my website and worth a visit. :good:

Hi, yeah me and a few mates have gone now about five times, its friendly, welcoming and always different

its good because its on a saturday afternoon and a few of us work saturday morning !

we also shoot at coniston, kelbrook, carlton, pondock, rishton and the a6

the choice in the north is amazing - we're really lucky

if only we had a choice of gunshops that weren't so far away

target sports and york guns are about the nearest

cheers steve

Not tried that one yet, keep meaning to as we're in Otley but weekends are busy at present. I generally shoot at the Royalty (Yorkgate) on a Sunday but havn't made it there for a while either.

Steve - theres a few decent gunshops up around you, Swillington (outskirts of Leeds) isn't that far off then Bond & Bywater (Preston) always used to be decent. Theres plenty of little gunshops too scattered around the place as well just a shame that The Shooting Lodge isnt in Skipton any more :blink:

Yep went one Saturday, it's Okay a bit on the easy side but a good little layout, friendly people and hot drinks/snacks. :yes:

We followed that up with Smaden Head shooting ground on the Sunday, some really high 'birds' there

and they have smartened up the 'hut' recently!!

Cheers, CB :~}
