Poacher
I know similar questions keep coming up but i have a space on my certificate for .22cf and want it filled sharpish. What can the wise pigeonwatch people recommend, i'm quite tempted by the Steyr range but am still open to persuasion and also calibre choice, .243, .223 or other. Ideally i'd like a gun that could cover all aspects of pest control with reasonable priced ammo Whats it to be ??
Dunkield
I am guessing you already know a .243 isn't a .22 centrfire?
Poacher
yep, of course slip of the keyboard
Dunkield
Do you have a variation, or are you after one? What will you do with the gun for when you get it? That should help with the replies
Poacher
Well i've had my FAC for some time now and was given three slots and i've only filled the .22rimmie so got the .22CF and .17hmr to go. Will be shooting foxes and long range crows/rabbits mainly.
