charlie 1
hi guys. I used to shoot vermin in the horse paddocks that we used to have but since leaving them i havn't been able to shoot with my air rifle. i recently found a brilliant spot for shooting rabbits with the air rifle. so i decided that i would put my scope back on top of the rifle then set it up for some rabbit shooting at the weekend. but i have a problem. i have a hw57 underlever air rifle. and i have a 4-12x50 scope on top of it. the trouble is, is that the bottom of the end of the scope is touching the top of the barrel and was wondering if that will cause a problem with accuracy and if whilst im shooting the cross hairs might move. i used to use this rifle and scope together and i don't remember having many problems with it, but i think i have changed the mounts and wasn't sure if this could cause problems. the scope is secure and doesn't move at all on the rifle. sorry for the lack of technical words but im not too familiar with them with rifles and scopes lol would appreciate any advice. thanks in advance charlie

SNAKEBITE
Where in West Sussex are you Charlie? Might have some old mounts you could have. FOC. Oh, I used to own a HW57, amazing guns. Wish I had never sold mine now.
