Dirty Harry
I went out at 7.30pm yesterday driving around some fields of barley. I managed to get 34 rabbits with the hmr before 11pm. That's the most I've ever had. I was lamping with the the car headlights. I found it surprising how close you can get the the rabbits before they moved and they all seemed to stop and look at the lights (bad move) before they jumped into the hedge. I had a fox run out of the barley infront of me but I was too slow to get a shot. At about 15 yards with a hmr would you guys go for a head of body shot on the fox? Dirty Harry
Fert, The farmer has mowed a large strips around the edges of the fields to allow access and knock the weeds back. It's ideal for driving on and the rabbits are eating the clover thats growing back. Harry
lurcherboy
Result Harry I would have had a go at the reynard with whatever was at hand including a catapault and 10mm ball bearing. LB
