bostonmick
A short while ago thousands of chickens and turkeys had to be destroyed in my area due to bird flu.now today it has been announced that bird flu has been confirmed in the area again.this time in geese and pheasants.in the wild.my question now would be are they going to allow these to be shot to try and stop it spreading to the poultry houses.or will the game season rules override it. Teal
No is the answer. If geese and pheasants have shown up with it, then other wild birds will have it to. Shooting a few pheasants or geese would not help.
bostonmick
But we can shoot most other wild birds.
