throdgrain
Would be very useful! Ive had my M2 some 18 months now, and shoot pretty good with it really, I can get 40+ out of 50 on a round of English sporting, not the best, but generally the best where I shoot, if you follow me. Only thing is, I know the gun shoots a bit low. I know this (or I think I know this !) because I mostly aim high at clays, like, I completely cover the target. Its even more noticeable on skeet, where I tend to use maintained lead, and I can see that my barrell is slightly higher than the target. Now all this is all very well, but sometimes I like to get out my Mossberg 500, and that most certainly shoots high. I aim well beneath the target with that. To come to the point (at last!) Id like to make the Benelli more like the Mossberg, seeing as theres no adjustment on the latter. At the moment its got a "C" shim in it, and Ive changed to a "B" shim, which Im hoping will bring the point of aim down a bit. Is this right? Before I go and ruin my already slightly wobbly reputation where I shoot Ive posted this on a couple of forums, would be glad for opinions
the last engineer
before you star chopping have you tried wrapping the stock in a sheath, eg adding a little to the comb (1/8") see if it helps, its easy to adjust thickness of padding first then fix the stock permanently after . just a thought. the last engineer
as an after thought, why are you trying to get 2 different guns the same, having done this myself i can tell you it dont work, if you want two guns the same buy two of the same, your relating your semi to the pump if im not mistaken, they work so differently,,,,,and so do you when using them. I would disagree to be honest. The pump works just the same, you pull the trigger and clay things break (occasionally!) Edit, I dont have to chop anything, its adjustable, thats what the thread was ABOUT
