Dave-G
During a freeview channel flicking session last night I happened to linger on the parliament channel: Strewth, I know MPs have a right to, and sometimes need to be vicious but I thought two MP's in particular were especially nasty with their privilege whilst giving the defence secretary a real bad time about how the army is understaffed by some 5000 personnel. Allowing that Madeline Moon is a labour MP and an opposition party tries to undermine the sitting government - but Mark Francois is a Conservative who ought to know better than browbeat someone for something his own government is shamefully partly responsible for. How can any government possibly hope to recruit potential personnel when its become very clear that soldiers are quite likely to find themselves in court for following order in theatre. I'd not want any of my kids joining up with the way they are being treated. Rant over.
