sandersj89
All over the local news, Merdian. They had some guy on calling for strict shotgun controls, training courses and tighter licensing rules. Sussex Lad...I think I know who owns the land where the accident took place. sussex lad
Sussex Lad...I think I know who owns the land where the accident took place. Jerry I've been told it was Martin Brickell's land . Supposed to be prime pigeon land. Been trying to get on there for ages
Country Boy
I only just heard the bad news. My condolences to the family and friends of Alex Bailey. It certainly is a tragedy for those involved and it is a tragedy for everyone who shoots pigeons from a hide and there will be consequences. It is not the first accident involving more than one person occupying a pigeon hide and it won't be the last but it proves yet again that shooting from a hide really should be a solo pastime. I for one have no desire to share my hide with anybody and I have no wish to sit in anyone else's hide thank you very much. Quote from an advisory note from a club of which I am a member: "It is not recommended that anyone shares your hide but if someone is to accompany you and stay in the hide with you, make sure there is enough room, that the non-shooter is positioned behind the shooter and that only the person in front has a loaded shotgun" :~{ C.B.
