Crazy Horse
Gentlemen, and gentleladies, a number of years ago in a little general store here in Bucks County, Pennsylvania I purchased a few cans (imported from Scottland) of Pheasant Soup. It was quite good, being creamy and a bit "tangy." Foolishly I threw the empty cans away and did not record the ingredients so I could attempt to duplicate the recipe. My question to you folks is does anyone have a good recipe for Pheasant soup or simply a good recipe for preparing Pheasant. I shoot a good number of Pheasants here in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and North dakota and frankly it gets a bit dull just baking, frying and the like. Crazy Horse
I suppose you Britts only eat Mutton and Pigeon. Too bad as Pheasants are pretty good fare. Then again, with the outbreak of Hoof & mouth I suppose Pheasants may soon become more palatable.
