Cranfield
I operate Windows ME. As part of my maintenance procedure, my computer deletes all Temporary Internet Files every 24 hours. This means that I have to"log-in" to this site every day. I know that I can set up my computer to retain the "Cookies" from this site (which keeps me logged-in), but I don,t know how. Any ideas, please ?
NeVeTaS
In Internet explorer, go to: Tools, Internet Options, Under the general tab You will see Temperorary Internet Files change the history settings, that might do it. Windows ME is the biggest sack of **** Microsoft ever produced, do yourself a favour and stick on 98SE, 2000, or XP!!!
Cranfield
Thanks NeVeTaS, a variation of your suggestion should have sorted it. The facility is in Internet Options/Tools/Privacy. There you can put in the websites you will retain cookies from. Hopefully, all will be OK now. :(
