matto Posted March 30, 2004 Report Share Posted March 30, 2004 Dating a AYA #4.Check the serial number against this... 100000 = early 60's 200000 = late 60's 300000 = early 70's 400000 = mid to late 70's 500000 = late 70's to early 80's 600000 = early to mid 1980's £300-400 for early or older gun £450-600 for average to good £600-750 for good late guns. Judging by the Serial No. Mid 80,s It is though, in very very good condition without a mark on Stock or metal. Where did you get this information on the No.4 FM. Fisherman Mike Posted April 5, 2004 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2004 Thanks for your comments guys, especially the website address for spanish guns Tody. I took your advice and bought the gun and am very pleased with it. I used it for the first time Sunday and shot 25 cartridges with it.(14 woodies and 1 crow) I will need to get it fitted properly and have the stock extended slightly as I found the rear of the trigger guard bruised my middle finger on recoil.
