rubble_1978 Posted August 7, 2007 Report Share Posted August 7, 2007 mostlly shoot rabbits but im workin on our feathery friends. keep hearing about pellets meassured in grains. so i figured keep it lighter and faster. :( then i get told make a hevier pellet for more punch. will this make a big difference to the power of my rifle? what ammo do you guys use? This depends on what you are shooting - A PCP or a Springer? in a PCP, a heavier pellet will be producing more power than a lighter one. It is exactly the opposiote in a springer though, a lighter pellet will be producing more power. It does make quite a big difference.
