jcbruno
You mean something a bit like that? Trouble is that on your stock, you dont have a lot of meat to cut one of those out of. I had one on my 17HMR, I know. Its actually one of the few factory stocks I have found to have decent cheekpiece height but that was only with a 40mm scope. IMHO, id go for something that adds on, I dont think you could get a very satisfactory job with a cutout without weakening the stock. Cheekeeze(spelling?) do a variety of adhesive foam rubber pads that should lift your head just that bit you need. well done i like that alot i have thought about doing that to my 7mm rem mag

Vegeta
Looks like a boy racer took up shooting John at the end of the day do you really need any more than the beartooth comb raising kit. Simple but effective and saves money for other work on the gun

Vegeta
Veg, the thing about the comb raising kit is it's so damn ugly It does the job but I got fede up of looking at it on my last rifle, and this rifle is a lot nicer looking LOL. I'm sure the foxes don't mind what it looks like I know what ya mean though. No point in getting a rifle with a lovely stock and then covering it up like that
