panoma1
As a result of the actions of WJ, It seems to me there is still a lot of questions need resolving, about the control of avian pests (so called) in order (it is claimed) to comply with the terms of the GL’s.........most of what is being discussed is about reactive control.....scare them, dissuade them, run around the fields shouting at em!.....and if all else fails (and you can prove it!) then you can use lethal control!.......I do not hear much about the need for proactive control?...........as well as what particular species are included, Is proactive control what WJ beef with the GL’s is about? Is proactive control not an essential part of pest control? And as such, is it high on the agenda of NE/DEFRA to keep it as part of the GL’s. Anyone know?
