vole
There is a lovely s/h AYA sbs in local dealer.£400.Beavertail forend.26 in barrels. SST. 12 g .Black plain ish action.Remarkable feature the really broad chequered forend, wider than all others on the rack.Dealer very busy and me in a hurry so thought i would ask on PW.I would love it for rough shooting. It has seen some use but otherwise good nick.I like the ventilated raised rib too.Any ideas from my sketchy description and any opinions on the gun? Thanks very much. dodeer
Sounds like a Matador to me. Good solid guns, single trigger can play up sometimes though.

dodeer
Sounds an alright deal. They go in the trade from £50 for a real dog to £425 for a minter. Sst generally only becomes a problem when the guns have had quite a bit of use, but are reasonably easy to fix. Matador's date from 70's till late 80's. vole
I dont recall seeing any ejector mechanism so might try to get it cheaper. Not want an ejector really tho to save rooting around for empties.Must admit that for my first sbs I find it an impressive gun.As you say, solid. Thanks for help guys.
