Another Cocker Question!!

Hi everybody,

Sorry for being a pain in the bum, but i've got another question. My Sister has a cocker spaniel and when it walks or runs its almost crab like? His back legs dont run in line with his font legs, he's a fantastic dog and very fit and doesn't seem in any discomfort.

Is this normal for a cocker spaniel? or has it been caused by a genetic defect or over exercise at a young age?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Q

Jaz is "in line"...............but each and every dog seems to have its quirks......JRTS hop every now and again...

Can say I have ever noticed jaz doing anything "un doggy" like......... Apart from drinking my stella...........

Sweep alternates between the two and does a left and right walk that makes him look like a bouncer, You would have to see it to understand.

My Saluki cross does it too depending on what speed I am walking at.

I would guess that they walk whatever way is comfortable for them given the conditions and speed.
