tulkyuk
I Would only buy decent glass to go on a 308, a rifle with that much power needs a scope that can see what your aiming at
casts_by_fly
I have the deerfield 3-9x50 on my .22 LR. They were on sale in the US a few years back for $40. My dad and I have the same scope. For me, it is a nice bright scope that works well on my 22. It is clearer than a lot of higher dollar scopes that I have looked through, and the 50 mm lets in a lot of light at 9X. I don't know how it tracks or holds zero, but for everything I've asked of it it has done great. I would put it on a 308 with no problems, just keeping an eye on the zero for a bit. thanks rick
