twenty
Probably only of interest to avid watchers, but a Bonaparte's Gull reported at WWT Slimbridge, (grounds closed at present). A North American bird, probably blown off course on a recent weather front. One of the smallest of gulls at 11 - 15 inches in length, it resembles a black headed gull, but with leg and bill colour differences. Breeds in Alaska........but this particular bird is only a second calendar year bird, so not breeding age. All the best.
