rsrjerry Posted September 15, 2007 Report Share Posted September 15, 2007 Hi all , I am offering for sale red squirrel conservation raffle tickets , the tickets are priced at £1.00 each .There are over 50 top prizes , top prize being a holiday cottage in the lake district for one week (sleeps 6) , all the money raised will go toward red squirrel conservation here in cumbria , and will pay for things like traps , feed etc .The draw takes place on the 24/10/07 . I have a list of prizes pm for the list .We have many dedicated voluteers here in the lake district and they all need the gear to help us to help our red squirrel , this is our last chance we need as much help as we can as the government and their bodies dont seem to being doing anything. I am a full time red squirrel conservation ranger employed by center parcs (hands on ) not sat behind a desk , i am out there in the woods , taking out as many greys as i can and without the help of many voluteers i may as well give up now .
