Wookie
It's light, it's small and it's good up to about 50 yards when you put a red filter on it. Personally, I don't trust it past 40 yards in the dark and that suits me down to the ground as most of my shots are taken at 25-35. The battery lasts a long while too. I modified my setup to mount the lamp under my air tube using a Deben clip on mount from their tracer series and it doesn't alter the balance of my rifle much at all. reloder
I would realy like to do some lamping but i just dont have the cash how much did your lamp cost? how powerful is it?
Wookie
Mine cost about 70 quid from Stuart Clay Traps in Melton. You can get them from pretty much anywhere (Uttings/Ramsbottoms etc) for about the same sort of money. Failing that, go for a Deben Tracer for about the same money, roughly about the same weight, but just a size bigger. They are arguably better too. You have to make a trade-off somewhere, and with the Smart, it's size for power. 150k candle power may sound a lot, but it's not. bennyblanco
are'nt the switches and the mounts diferent though, the batteries are deffinatly from a bike lamp as there is a cut out to allow it to be fitted to a down tube on a bike
