Description

Pretty rare gun, it was one of a very small batch made in the 80s for a UK distributor.

It is essentially a .45-70 rolling block (26" heavy target barrel, half octagonal), but manufactured as smoothbore and chambered for 3" .410 shells.

The gun is finished to a high standard with deep bluing on the barrel, a polished receiver and colour-cased hammer and block. German silver blade front sight, simple notch rear. Holes drilled and tapped for a tang sight too if you have .410 slugs on your FAC.

Good condition, lovely gun for a nostalgic squirrel hunt, or a quirky clay shoot. Possibly even re-enacting etc..

Certainly one of the more interesting guns that you can hold on a shotgun certificate.

Collection from Chichester, West Sussex
